Why Orwell Grey

What’s With The Name?

Our PR firm’s name is an homage to George Orwell who had an intimate relationship with words and ideas. There is no better way to express our reverence for language and our commitment to practicing the art of strategic communication than the name Orwell.

The color Grey serves as a metaphor for communication. Grey can be bold and powerful or subtle in service of another color, and let’s not forget that Grey comes in at least fifty shades.

Communication can also be bold or subtle, but its shade must always match the audience for which it is intended.

The name Orwell Grey reflects our devotion to language, rhetoric, nuance, and ideas, and to clearly expressing our clients’ visions.
